Hi Everyone!
We are back at it again this week solidifying our rep for our concert coming in a month! We will be hitting quite a few songs this week, including “Turn,Turn, Turn”, “I Will Sing”, “Dream On”, “Flight Song”, “Make Them Hear You”, and “Defying Gravity”. Keep up the great work!
Admin Notes
TICKET SALES There are only FOUR weeks until our concerts and as of 3/25 we have sold 15% of our available tickets. Please continue to promote our concerts by calling/texting/emailing your friends and family, and sharing our Facebook and Instagram posts. Please be sure to include a link to our website or the QR code (on the poster) in your communications. Thanks!
https://sycamorecommunitysingers.com/tickets/ Mary Wynn has more posters available. See her Thursday night if you have places to post them!
Casual Attire Guidelines: MEN – Do you have your black collared shirt and black slacks? WOMEN – Do you have your long sleeve (or ¾ sleeve) black top, and long, black slacks or skirt?
RSVP to our post-concert party at the Rosenbergs! If you did not receive the Evite invitation (sent 3/6 at 6:30), email Sally Alexander. Plus ones/spouses are welcomed and encouraged to attend the party. Please reply as a count of “2” on the Evite invitation if you’re bringing a non-choir member guest.
SPC OUTREACH: Sycamore Presbyterian Church has a community outreach to Symmes Elementary and Loveland Elementary that prepares bags of non-perishable food for needy kids. Pick up some items while shopping and bring them to rehearsal. There are bins under the SERVE sign in the lobby for donations to be placed. The attached photo lists suggested items to donate. Questions to Don/Lorie Stuart or Jill Yust. Julie Ferron is the school nurse at Symmes Elementary and may also lend additional information about the needs.
Schedule conflict? Please let us know through this form. If you have a last-minute need to miss rehearsal, it is better to communicate directly with your section’s attendance taker.

Harmony Project Update
Caleb received this message from the Project Manager with important information for all those planning to participate.
Happy Monday, music directors!!
We are so excited for your participation in the Concert for Humanity! Director David Brown would love to meet your chorus members to share the news and excitement of the May 1st concert. To that end, we have scheduled a group Zoom gathering with all chorus members from each of our guest choruses, Tuesday, April 1ST 630-7pm. Please share this Zoom link with your members: https://www.google.com/url?q=https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86087070005&sa=D&source=calendar&ust=1742650418934957&usg=AOvVaw2RvtWT8Gl83vESRs6L9i7D
Touching base on a few things:
- Please encourage your participants to register this week if they have not yet. Please register on THIS LINK
- Please request your complimentary seats for chorus friends & families here. Or if you prefer, you can give me the collective number of tickets your group would like.
- We want to promote your choir! If you are rehearsing with your choir, our communications director may want to visit and take some video to share as part of our concert promotion! Please let me know your rehearsal times that we could visit. We also welcome any dynamic photos and videos you’d like to share with us. We want to put a spotlight on you as well! I know some of you already have visits with us scheduled. Thank you!
- Social media: please like and share Harmony projects promo with your communities and encourage folks to attend. The Schott is a very large venue and needs everyone’s push to fill it! I am also attaching promo assets that you can use and share with your choruses.
